Went out with the boys last night for dinner and movie. After dinner, we went to GSC to check out what was on. Nick wanted 4bia (some Thai horror which consists of 4 movies together) and Josh wanted Death Race. I wanted neither. But in the end, we went for Death Race, I’d choose that over any horror movies any day hands down. Since Josh was VIP, we got free tickets. WOOT.
At first, I thought it was gonna be a guy’s show and this that, thinking I’ll definitely fall asleep in the cinema (I do fall asleep during movies A LOT). So I wasn’t as enthusiastic or excited as Josh. But I was wrong okay. This movie is damn onz whei. Especially the soundtracks. Shit.
Jason Statham is kinda hot, plus he’s brit. Extra points for him. LOL.
However, for those who can’t stand blood, exploding bodies, violence, gory scars and all that gnarly stuffs should not watch it. Cause you’re just gonna waste your money. But, DO watch it for the awesome effects and racing and the on kau kau soundtracks.
All I can say is that this movie is good. Though some parts are kinda predictable, some parts aren’t. I shall not talk about the synopsis of the movie cause I don’t wanna spoil it for anyone who plans to watch it. Overall, I give Death Race a 4/5 rating. But since the soundtrack is fucking awesome, I’ll give it 5 out of 5. HAH.
